Geronimo

I just came back from walking two kilometres under a scorching Sun. When I see cars around me, and all of these students are driving their dad’s cars, I get frustrated. They did not earn any of this privilege. They were born into it. Similarly, you and I were born into a lower-middle-class family. Baba brought us from Rural life to the Urban population and that is his contribution. That is his achievement. But he forgot that in rural, there’s far less ‘fierce’ competition than that in the urban areas. So now brother, we have to fight this war of “survival of the fittest,” an animalistic rule being enforced among humans by just a handful of human animals. To get basic privileges like one nice car for the family, an AC, and an Oven for mom, we have to walk under this hot sun, and we have to believe that any day can be life-changing. I promise you … I will try my best to live until I get all these things for you and Mama and Baba and our little sister. It is the last year of my university, and I am scared. I do not have any of what my fellows keep posting on LinkedIn. I wasted a year of my university life in a relationship that bore red flags one month after I was into it. And yet, I persisted. I was foolish and I was getting quick pussy. Don't you ever let a pussy distract you! And then when she went away, I grew the most. I matured the most in these 6 months than in the twenty previous years of my life. So … I cannot really say that a relationship is bad for you. All I will want to see is you do not stay in a bad one, for an indefinite amount of time. Love, Learn and Let go. If you find someone truly special, remember, I found five of them in less than 3 years. It is a lie. Out of 7.5 billion people in the world, you cannot find your soulmate living twenty miles from where and somehow in your teens and pre-adults. Experience and do have fun. Enjoy the most. But nothing is an end.

So … I just came back from this hot tiring walk

in Ramadan 2022. I want to give you and everyone else, all of what we have dreamt. But If I could not and I die, know that living is not obligatory for you too. Suffering is not necessary. You can choose to die and those who ask you to live and suffer through life are the ones who should be ashamed of themselves. I am sure you will make the right decision. This society works on the laws of unequalness. Capitalism intentionally keeps us from getting rich, from getting the money that I and Baba and Mama and you work so hard to earn. We all work to the best of our capacities na? Then feel free to say Fuck-you to this system of unequalness and to die. There is no taboo or shame in quitting when you are forced to start at a disadvantage.

I love you the most and … that is why we talk so less. I hope you do not have to live through the last paragraph. Take care. Bye.
